st. patricks' day

I was reading up a little on the origin of St. Patrick's day and wikipedia.com had some interesting facts on why we wear green on this holiday. Blue was the original color associated with Saint Patrick. However he used the shamrock as a way to describe the Trinity to the pre-christian Irish, thus the color green became more popular to symbolize the holiday.

Happy St. Patty's Day, wear your green so you don't get pinched!

lesson in layering

So yes I know it's snowing, again, but who says you can't wear all that cute spring stuff you've been buying in anticipation of warmer temps to come. Throw a long sleeve tee under a tank or a pair of leggings on under a dress and you are set to go. I know I can't wait to wear something once I've bought it, so I encourage you to layer it up and rock those spring styles!
